A really cool development in projection screen technology is available from Spyeglass. Spyeglass utilizes film materials manufactured by 3M that are laminated onto Lexam sheets. The really cool thing about using film sheets for projection is that the projection "screen" can be cut in any shape imaginable. Even better, the film material can be cut to size and laminated onto a Lexam sheet. The projected image can be mashed down via computer software and the resulting image can have a dynamic impact on your customers or audience.
The absolutely coolest application was for a virtual salesperson. This is done by shooting a video of your salesperson during their presentation ( having them stand very still) and having the Spyeglass projection film and the Lexam sheet cut to the shape of the sales person. Imagine how much attention this display would attract in your store lobby or out in the mall's common area.
